Grammys Glamour

What we all love most about award season is seeing what our favourite celebrities wear, am I right? Year after year I know I look forward to watching musicians and actors alike, walking down the red carpet. This year was no different, and like always there were some incredible fashion statements. I am going to share with you all, my three favourite red carpet looks.

Taylor Swift in Elie Saab.

Can Taylor Swift ever get it wrong when it comes to red carpet fashion? I mean, this turquoise masterpiece is breathtaking and beautiful. I love that she paired it with turquoise earrings and a pair of fuchsia purple pumps.

Rihanna in Giambattista Valli.

At first I was unsure as to how I felt about this Giambattista Valli number. As crazy and puffy as this dress is (rumoured to have taken up three seats at the awards ceremony), Riri certainly pulled this one off. I particularly admire that Rihanna took a chance on such a girly and feminine styled dress (almost Barbie like), as we rarely see her do.

Kim Kardashian in Jean Paul Gaultier.

I am not a mathematician but I do know that Kim Kardashion plus Jean Paul Gaultier mathematically equates to perfection. I am in awe of this dress. In fact I believe it should not be deemed a dress, but a work of art. The details on this gown are impressive and so well thought out. I love that Kim opted for a simple gold shoe, as it compliments the overall look and lets the dress shine bright. I also have to say that I am a fan of Kim’s new short hair and the way it has been swept to the side.

There you have it, my personal favourite looks of the night. Leave a comment below letting me know who you think was the best dressed at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
